If you're a art lover and you haven't heard the name Michele Poirier-Mozzone, it's about time you do. Know her work too, which is the definition of extraordinary. It is a marvelous capture of the figure influenced by water and its dynamic nature.
The human figure is a wonderful study anywhere, in almost every state. Water as a body is powerful, glorious, mysterious. This is probably why this series, "Fractured Light" will never cease to amaze and captivate, being a unique mix of two living forms (water and the human figure) that have inspired artists through the years. You want to know how she so successfuly captures gliding bodies in water which doesn't stay in one place either, how reflected and refracted light, dazzling colours are represented with paints, right? I would soak in the beauty of these pieces now if I were you and wonder about the process later. Her work can be seen online at poirier-mozzone.com and on her Instagram.
